Report submitted to Gmail and Garmin US as well. I'll update this thread if I have any updates or solutions.

Yep, my Gmail is marking live track emails from friends as "looks unsafe" and removing the link. Nothing I can do to convince Gmail the email is safe.
Garmin should put the full URL in the notification…
Thanks trux, but I already tried most if not all those tips in the article to have resolved this. Unfortunately, the issue remains.
1. Clicked within Gmail on looks safe.
2. Scan my emails.

To view the source of the email you must click "Show original" in the menu. If you right click the email and click "View page source" you will get the source of the Gmail page.
View the source of the email and search for "livetrack.garmin.com" and you will find the link. It is probably broken into several lines so if you copy the link you need to remove the equal signs ("=") which indicates line breaks.
It appears something is happening in the backend with the LiveTrack notification issue initially addressed. This morning I went for a run with my wife and before starting the activity I set up in my Connect app to receive notification about my own activity and by default I receive notification from my wife. In this way I received two notification emails to my Gmail inbox. Both emails looked suspicious thus links were removed. However, when clicked on email looked OK the emails were closed and I was taken to my inbox. From there I opened the notification emails and the follow my activity buttons were clickable and contained the links to the activities.
Please keep us all up-dated on this issue. Sure enough it does not work for me either.
I have FENIX 7Sapphire Solar, when sending a Live Track message - the receipient receives a RED Warning Message by email. IF click "Looks Safe" - The "Watch Live Activity" link is removed and does not work. Either way, the link does not work.
This is important. Please update and let us know. Thankyou.
trux, how do I get to the safe sender list?
Yes they do VKK. I have an Garmin livetrack email in Gmail - the link didn't work. Looking at the original source of the email, the link is right there --->

Please put a copy paste link in the email. My spouse is having this issue when I send live tracks for safety on early morning runs.
I know this might be a PITA but I added my yahoo account for the live track link and it works fine
Solution to Gmail link not working.
Open the Live Track email. Go to the three dots on the right hand side, go down the list that appears and click "block garmin".
Then go back to the three dots and click, "unblock garmin".
Close the Live Track email by clicking the back arrow and go back to the main inbox.
Then close the Gmail tab.
Now open a new tab and go back to your Gmail.
The Live Track email link inside the email should work now.
