Yep, my Gmail is marking live track emails from friends as "looks unsafe" and removing the link. Nothing I can do to convince Gmail the email is safe.
Garmin should put the full URL in the notification…

Gmail is causing this issue so bug report it to them. Clicking "Looks safe" should enable all links. The links are there in the original mail.
It might be a good idea to also send it to Garmin Support and tell them what Gmail is doing and that the "Looks safe" button isn't working as it should. Garmin can then report that to Gmail, but there are not guarantees for that.

Gmail does not care about any such reports, and Garmin likely also not. It is an intentionally designed feature, and it is user-controllable - you can fix it by proper handling of the messages and by the settings. 3. Created a never send to spam filter.
4. Added [email protected] to my contact list to have it white listed.
5. Marked it as spam and de-mark it to have it whitelisted.
Believe me, I and my family members involved in the testing clicked on many times today on "Looks Safe", but that didn't bring the results you see. Each family member (2) and myself received a minimum of 5 notification emails where we all clicked on "Looks Safe".
Currently in my use case Live track = Safety feature = my @ss
