What are the number of points needed for Levels from challenges/ badges?

Please can Garmin publish a list of how many total points are  needed for each level as well as how many points to the next level.

Also I have heard that there are now 10 levels, can you confirm this?

Has anyone tried to keep track of each time they get a new level and the points to the next level? If so we can workout a few of the numbers.

  • You can get more than 200 points per year just while sleeping.

48 points from meeting a daily step challenge for a year (set daily target to 100 steps to make it easier).

12 points just by recording hydration.

    What I can say.
It is now easier than was earlier (and people are still complaining), I think it is result of surrounding us mediocracy.
When I started with Garmin, there were badges only for finishing some activities, no challenges.

I'm now on level 7 and it took me 9 years to get there.
I could do this earlier but due to health issues I was forced to stop sport activities for some period of time.

  • I'm reaching level 7 TOMORROW,,  assuming I go my 10,000 steps today (39 out of 30 days). I'm two points shy of Level 7. I started in 2017 so eight years for me.

There is someone in my waking challenge that has a contact that is at Level 10 (10308 points)! He has over 249 marathons, 31 50 Miles Ultra, 250 Century ride (all as Speedy Century too!), 221 4 hour indoor rides and yet, his stats says the farther he ran was 32.56 KM and the farther he rode was 102.19 KM. Some of his "rides" had a maximum speed of over 150 km/h. Something is fishy here.

  • I made Level 8 today. At age 67 I reckon Level 9 is never going to happen Joy

Hacking FIT files to create false/exaggerated activities is fairly simple so those numbers can easily be explained. Unfortunately there is no checking done so folk with self-esteem issues can make themselves look "better".

  • Yeah, anyone who is editing fit files, setting 100 daily step goals, etc to "finesse the system" and easily earn badges is kind of defeating the purpose.  It's not like you win medal for earning the most badges / reaching the highest level.

I've been in the Garmin ecosystem since before the badges came online.  As a 53 year old ultra runner that does some yoga and weight lifting, I'll never see level 8.  It took me however many years to get to lvl 7 and now I need to earn the same amount of points that it took to go from level 1 to level 7, just to get to level 8.  Not a biggie, but I'm certainly not going to lower any standard to make earning badges easy.  That just seems ridiculous to me.

  • If only I slept that good lol

So there is 10+ points per month for sleep??

  • More than that! 4 points of you keep a score of 75 or above for 7 days and one point of you wear your watch for 30 days while you sleep, so 17 points. However, so far I've only managed to get four 4 points badges for sleeping well. They are not easy to get (for me).

  • There's a maximum of 1,000 to be gained like this. I reckon I get the award 3 weeks out of every 4.

  • Wow, great job! I don't recon getting to Level 8 myself as it took 8 years to get to Level 7 as I don't think I'll keep going at that same rate I'm going right now as I get older. Maybe I'll get a watch like the Legacy Marvel watches where you get a recurrent 2 points by just doing something easy or I'll create a fake opponent that I'll always win against so I can rack up points... Nah, that's just fooling themselves.
