I need help with a corrupt file.

Data shown in 'All Rides' in the Garmin 510 edge head unit but fails to sync.

Tried to repair using http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ but gives an error message as follows - Upload status: The file could not be uploaded. The following error occured: Unexpected end of file while parsing Name has occurred. Line 151558, position 9.

PLEASE HELP

Timestamp out of chronological order.

Repaired using Fit File Repair Tool.

The 245 is not normally an issue, but I would start with removing all files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVTY folder regardless of what it says is available, especially if you have chronic corrupt file issues.

Hi Seilogramp,

I saw this thread and I have the exact same synchronization error for just 1 activity in Garmin Connect with my Edge 820 and when tried to use Kiesewetter to fix that fit file I get this:

Corrupt FIT file - The following error occurred: Unexpected end of file while parsing Name has occurred. Line 151558, position 9.

When I saved my 70km ride the battery was quite empty already. I did see it saving after completing the ride and I was able to push the checkmark after that, but then the Garmin immediately shut down (maybe the ride wasn't fully saved after all...)

Could you help with this? Appreciate your help!

i have the same Problem

i have downloaded the tool fitfilerepairtool.info
by import the File in the tool is crashed every time
