Question

I need help with a corrupt file. 
 Data shown in 'All Rides' in the Garmin 510 edge head unit but fails to sync. 
 
 Tried to repair using http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ but gives an error message as follows - Upload status: The file could not be uploaded. The following error occured: Unexpected end of file while parsing Name has occurred. Line 151558, position 9. 
 
 PLEASE HELP

 The Forerunner 25 seems susceptible to these issues, so here are some tips to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files: 
 
 Keep the number of files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device&rsquo;s file system to a minimum using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device If you delete the files in your activity folder with a Mac computer, then empty the trash folder before you unplug your device from the computer. 
 Try to avoid excessive button presses during your activity. 
 Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express 
 If issues with corrupt files persist, contact Garmin Support .

 Yep. I did the same a year ago and got this response. 
 
 This is a false warning and caused by the fact that my tool is a MS Access application. I wish I could do anything to prevent this warning. Sorry!

I've been posting this here for the past year for anyone that wants to download it and install it. 
 You can get around it and download the zip file by temporarily turning off Real-time protection. Go to "Virus & threat protection settings," then toggle off "Real-time protection." Do this at your own risk of course and don't forget to turn it back on after downloading the zip file. 
 Once downloaded, go to MS Access > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Locations > Add the path to FitFileRepairTool
