Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I've understood your problems. But I "frequently" have issues downloading stored swim heart rate data (From Garmin HRM-Swim) to my Forerunner 965.

I also have a corrupted FIT file after my Garmin Edge 510 turned off by itself during a ride. Can you please fix?

Can you share how you repair these corrupt files? Today I have another one, again Edge 510 stopped turned off in the middle of the ride.

For your latest fit file, you can run it through the free online FIT File Tools section remover, without any adjustments. I tested it and it works. If you have any difficulty, please reply back and I'll take care of it.

For more difficult repairs, I use Fit File Repair Tool. It's not free, but it it works for 99% of the fit files I've fixed.

Did you try FIT File Tools section remover? That should have worked. Just run it through without any adjustments. I think the only thing you'd have to change after uploading it to Garmin Connect is to change the activity type from Other to Running.

At any rate, this will work - 2021-04-10-13-18-00-fixed.fit
