When I am working well past midnight, on my PC and everyone is asleep, my watch thinks I am in deep sleep (not moving much other than typing on keyboard/moving mouse). Then it sees light sleep/awake for…
I don't know why but I can tell that my 3x cheaper Huawei Fit could track my sleep and even random naps with a minute accuracy. My Garmin Forerunner 245 is off even by hours EVERY day. Completely unusable feature. Because of that I am considering switching for Samsung Watch 2 should the reviews be favorable once it comes out.
When I am working well past midnight, on my PC and everyone is asleep, my watch thinks I am in deep sleep (not moving much other than typing on keyboard/moving mouse). Then it sees light sleep/awake for 3-4 min then goes into some random sleep mode. What a joke for a £650 watch!
Yep, the same here. I have set my sleep alarm at 10pm and watch probably automatically assumes I get to bed by that time.
My 3x cheaper Huawei Fit didn't have problems detecting this including random naps during the day that Garmin never ever detected... Garmin, really?
Lately I have the impression that the only correctly working sensors are HR monitor and GPS.
Everything else is fake - breathing, SpO2, VO2 Max and set counter during exercises... all seem to be off to me.
Some things are off for sure - like exercise set counter, breathing, sleeping - these I can confirm by other means. And based on these measurements I am loosing also trust in the rest.
Garmin, clients loosing trust in your product is the worst thing that can happen!
