Hi! Your watch might have messed up some data, resulting in a corrupt .fit file. Try these steps:
1. manually upload https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=Ht3ZP52Kju075uKvqTqu99 - connect your watch to your…
I am having the same problem right now with my newly purchased Forerunner 45. I even tried to do another activity and this new one appeared on my app. How to resolve this problem? Thank you
If the synchronisation seems to be working properly (sync circle closing and turning green), but not all the data is appearing in your account, then it very probably means that your device is associated with multiple accounts. It frequently happens for example when you reinstall the application, and inadvertently sign up a new account instead of signing into the original one.
Follow the instructions from the support document Data is Missing from My Garmin Account After Syncing to resolve the issue.
Hi Trux
It does seem that I have multiple watches linked to the same account (see attachment please). I deleted the older one but the data did not get consolidated. I did sign out of Garmin Connect website and the Garmin Connect app and signed in again. The data still shows the 9087 steps for the 18th of June.
Did you mean the future data will be synced and tracked accurately from hereon but past data is lost?
Thanks!
Regards,
Reema

Having multiple devices under the same account is not a problem. The problem is when you have the same device registered with several accounts. As I wrote, it easily happens when you mistakenly sign up for a new account instead of signing in into the old one, for example when you reinstall the app, or when you install it on a new phone. Also using the device with multiple phones, or with a phone and with a tablet may have similar consequences.
Follow carefully the insturctions form the Support document, and hopefully it gets better. If not, the problem may be deeper, and you may need to contact the Support for the assistance.
Thanks for this. My run this evening didn't upload, and I found this and it worked. Took some searching for the correct file, feel like a computer wizard!
Completed a run and it won't sync to Mobile Garmin Connect. I've unstalled the app and added back. That did not work. I can see the run under history on the watch.
I am experiencing the same. I have a new Venu SQ. I have correctly installed the Garmin Connect App. If I manually synch my activities on the app, it goes through the motions and tells me that synchronization is complete but the activity does not appear on the app
Does the activity exist in the history of the watch? If you see it all there, then possibly a corrupt activity (fit file). Try a manual upload of your activity to Garmin Connect
How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?
If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. It is likely corrupt. Attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.
