Activity won't upload to Garmin Connect

The last two days I've been having troubles uploading my activities to Garmin Connect. I get the usual message that syncing is complete, but the activity does not show on Garmin Connect. The activity from two days ago disappeared from my Fenix 3 activity history after syncing as well, but the activity from yesterday is still there. Any ideas what the issue might be and how to solve it?

    hi,

    funny Slight smile you are aware you asked yourself ?

    you could have a corrupted fit file on your watch

    get the corresponding fit file from within the activty folder on your device

    run that fit file through Fit File Tools's section remover (whitout any removing)

    import the resulting fit file manual from within Garmin Connect Web

    when this fails

    with your consent we can have a look at your file with FitFileRepairTool

    zip the fit file and upload here in the forum (drag & drop on your post)

    or provide a link to it on a cloud storage

    hi,

    the fit file you provided is not the file that contains your activity data

    those fit files containing your activity data you will find (or not) in the activity folder

    please feel free to follow procedures written in this thread

    No fit files/activity data in the activity folder. 

    And what's synced on Garmin Connect is not the full activity..

    What can we do now? Help please?

    • at this stage your fit file is uploaded (not full) and this means your fit file is not corrupted

    how do you sync your watch

    • Garmin Connect Mobile iphone
    • Garmin Connect Mobile android
    • Garmin Explore iphone
    • Garmin Explore android
    • Garmin Express sync via usb
    • Garmin Connect Web import via usb

    Ok let me be a bit more specific..

    For example on June 18, on Garmin Connect (the app on my android note 9), shows that I did 9087 steps. In reality, I actually did over 10k steps to beat my goal for the day. The real figure of above 10k is reflected on my vivosport watch, but when I sync, it only syncs up to the 9087 steps.

    The activities are syncing (for example the details of the walk are accurate), but the steps taken after the walk to complete the goal of 10k are not. 

    Maybe it's worth noting that when I go for my walk i turn on GPS? Not sure if that has anything to do with the inaccuracy of syncing.
