Ok but the problem is that Golf is the only activity present in the main menu. Why Golf and not Swim, Run... ?
The watch knows all the activities we practice (or not). It is completely incoherent to have…
I definitely agree, but it would be better telling it directly to Garmin (for example here https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/), because on the user forum it risks not to be spotted by Garmin at all.
Wether it is Golf, Yoga, Swimming, Rowing, you name it; sufficient users of your Garmin Connect environment have asked to make settings optional. Are you considering? Does someone in the company have the decency to explain if this is considered and when? Also if not considered, would be great to understand. Thanks.
You can now hide Golf from the left naviagtion menu and from the Gear page with the help of local overrides of Garmn Connect:
Let me know if you see Golf somewhere else, I can suppress it too.

Well, I think Garmin has enough of more urgent tasks on the todo list, and no interest in removing golf anyway, since they sell golf watches, but if you really cannot stand golf in your GC account, you can remove it from the menu and from the Gear page with the help of local overrides, just like I did.
