Ok but the problem is that Golf is the only activity present in the main menu. Why Golf and not Swim, Run... ?
The watch knows all the activities we practice (or not). It is completely incoherent to have…
Just for good measure, here's the same rules as Adblock Plus filters (following Sir Rasor's idea.)
connect.garmin.com##ul.main-nav-group.main>li:nth-child(3)
connect.garmin.com##a[href='#golf-gear-tab']
As with the Stylus style, these rules should not be used unless you actually have the Golf link on your front page. (The first rule simply hides the 3rd link, whether or not it's Golf.)
Thanks WNY!!
This greate solution totally let Golf disappeared!
BTW, I also remove Quickdraw.
connect.garmin.com##ul.main-nav-group.main>li:nth-child(5)
connect.garmin.com##a[href='#quickdraw-gear-tab']
A workaround - How do I remove golf from Garmin connect?
This doesn't answer nor solve the issue. The left panel in web FE should be editable, at least to hide the Golf
Then I suggest submitting your request directly to Garmin - Share Ideas | Garmin
The left panel in web FE should be editable, at least to hide the Golf
Why? If you do not need it, do not use it. And if you suffer some alergy on seeing the word Golf on your monitor, do it in this way:
Here's a thread with other workarounds which don't involve installing a local overrides script (and which work on Firefox, as well as Chrome/Edge):
(You do have to install an extension: Adblock Plus, uBlock Origin, or Stylus.)
Please, how can I remove all this golfing app / information from the dashboard? why is this forced on us who don't play golf? Looks like a lot of folks have the same issue, how hard can this be?
Why can't we edit these. ?
C'mon, just because some boss at Garmin thinks that he's golf is a sport, it should still be possible to remove menu-items that mskes no sence.
Or you could be proactive and let people individually ad whatever activity the like to the menu.
This problem relates to the web-interace also, and many users are complaining about it.
For that excessive amount of money we users pay for your products, I find Garmins lack of action and proper response very arrogant.
