Personal records are not updated

My new personal records are not updated in Garmin Connect. Anyone know how I can force this.

    Io ho il Fenix 3 HR e dopo l’aggiornamento software 4.0 sincronizzato con Garmin Express i Records rimangono sull’orologio ma su Garmin Connect compaiono ma poi spariscono rimanendo solo 2 lineette.
    La Soglia Anaerobica invece non si aggiorna più ne sull’orologio ne su Garmin Connect, sempre dopo l’aggiornamento software 4.0.

    We have duplicate it on our end and we have created a case to resolve it.

    I apologize for the inconvenience.


    Hopefully, the issue will be resolved shortly.

    Good to read this. Garmin Support replied to my report with the "copy/paste" article about th PRs from their web.
    They didn't understand the problem, or the guy who answered. I explained it again with some screenshots, so now they will understand better, I hope.
    Please, keep us updated with the progress of your case. I'm going to share main, when there's an update.

    They also did not understand the issue and initially sent me a few links to FAQs. However, after a few more emails exchanged with screenshots, my activity FIT files and detailed steps to reproduce the issue, they've acknowledged it and can reproduce it. Hopefully, this will lead to a speedy resolution.

    With the help of other members, I have learned how to accurately update the PRs manually.

    1. Select the activity and assign the desired PR manually, based on PR recorded on the watch.
    2. Go to the PR page and further edit the PR time to match that on the watch.

    That does work, but you should do it after you've edited the activity or else it will disappear again. I think the other issue is that PR history might also be impacted by this issue. Anyhow, I'm hoping for a resolution soon.

  • I had the exact same issue today, did a run, got a 1Km PR which is recorded on the watch, and when I looked at the activity it had the little trophy beside it. However, when I edited the notes on the activity, the trophy disappeared, and the PR disappeared from the PR list. The 1Km slot on the PR list was just blank.

    Shoddy and disappointing.

  • What platform did you use to change the activity to Favorite?


    The more details can help others prevent the issue as well as help Garmin track down the problem.


    I used garmin connect, looked at the activity and clicked the small star in the top right hand corner of the screen ( next to the sharing icons).
  • Not much joy so far with reporting the issue...

    I too thought I'd "do the right thing" and report the issue (I'm an It professional and you'd be surprised how often people complain about stuff in corporate IT and never bother to report it so I'm "eating my own dog-food")

    After an initial hope filled chat and giving garmin permission to look at my account and details of an affected activity, I was told that the activity showed up fine in Firefox and I should consider changing my browser from Chrome :mad:

    After I came down off the ceiling, I have installed firefox proven that the issue exists on several different Operating systems, PCs and browsers (with screen shots) and asked them very politely to escalate.

    I'll keep you posted - hoping you guys do better than me.

    Mine deleted anything since May. This was after a Windows 10 update-any chance this caused it?
    By the way, Garmin Tech Support ignored me.
  • We do not begin to say that it is the fault of the weather or the planets align, are programming errors.
    It does not happen at all, to my wife with the Forerunner 235's all right, me with Fenix 3 HR with software update 4.0 stoned all records and disappear from Garmin Connect.
    Everything happens from early November.
    The assistance is simply painful.
