what if Total Active Calories does not correspond to the sum of Active Calories of multiple activities during the da
It should not. Total Daily Active Calories contain all Active Calories from the day, not only Active Calories of the Activities, but also Active Calories burned over the RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate) at any other physical or mental activity..
Besides that, Activity Calories include not only Active Calories, but also the passive part (RMR), hence you cannot sum Activity Calories (Active+RMR) and compare them to pure Active Calories.
That is what I thought. I understand that, the difference in terminology, but even calculating manually, there is no coincidence in what it should be. I mean, it would be related due to a non-linearity in the behaviour of the model, but if we consider it lineal it is off. For two activities, one with 1410kCals over 2.1 hours(02:06:07, almost 2.1) and the other with 299kCals over 58 mins having 2003kCals on rest, when I do maths, numbers does not match.
I would like to turn off active calories..is that possible?
Well, you could stay all day in the bed doing nothing. Or just stop wearing the watch.
