It started a few weeks ago.
Happens an time I want to change an watch setting (I have multiple watches)
To repro: Tap on the device icon, go back to the main screen, tap on the icon again (nothing happens)

Thank you for the information. If you have not tried already, I would recommend uninstalling/re-installing the Garmin connect app on the iPhone 17 Pro max. Is there by chance a different device around that can install Garmin Connect for testing to see if that device is able to reproduce this?
I have tried reinstall the app.
I have multiple devices connected. That may be a clue.
