Garmin Connect does not sync weight anymore with Apple Health

Hi,

I have just noted that since 29th of October Garmin Connect doesn’t sync weight anymore with Apple Health. I use always the most recent iOS version of Garmin Connect.

Does anyone else have the same problem and/or a solution?

Hope so,

David

  • No it’s not. I took my Garmin watch offline 2 years ago, and the scale was fine till they updated the App. But apparently Garmin will not fix it anytime soon.

  • FIXED!!!

New update pushed today for Garmin Connect app (v4.62) and it solved the syncing issue between Garmin Connect and Apple Health app, specifically using the Garmin Index S2. I just updated the app and all of my past weights in Garmin Connect synced with Apple Health.

  • Yes and finally it works!
It was a let down for taking so long to solve.

  • Seems to be oneway only. Weight in Apple Health (generated by Withings) is not send to Garmin Connect app.

From Garmin Connect to Apple Health it works again

  • Good to hear. The same problem is back again.

  • Mine now works again, updated the Garmin app this morning, nothing was shown for weight measurements, stepped on the scales which synced this mornings weight to Garmin app and then it appeared in apple health along with all my previous weight metrics from last year. It shows as being inputted at 00:00 instead of 06:20 when I did my weigh-in this morning but I am not bothered about that!

Well done Garmin! Looks like you are most of the way there. For me, I only use the Index 2 to weigh myself and send that data to Apple health, all other apps work from apple health so as long as the scale syncs to apple health I am happy :D

    Thanks again Garmin :D

  • Confirmed fix for me as well.  I am now on v4.62.0.31 on iPhone and Apple Health is once again syncing.  But it only synced back to Dec 28th.  That is probably Apple Health responsible for that.  I wonder if there is a way to force Apple Health to sync back from Nov 9th?  Even so, I'll call this a win!  Thanks .

  • This disruption has been resolved by a recent update to Garmin Connect.  If you are still experiencing this after this update, please start a new thread.
