Hello everyone,
We have not forgotten about this disruption. I apologize for the delay, but it's still under active investigation.
I will update this thread when I know more.
Hi ColinvZ,
I'm very sorry to anybody who is experiencing this. Your comments have been heard, and I've seen progress on the report. It is still under investigation and is still escalated.
I'm…
All,

All, if you see a Cross Country Skiing FTP without having any Cross Country Ski activities saved in your account, please reply with the following:
Has anyone else this problem?
For me it is a problem that Garmin reports results/status from an activity form that I have Never Ever performed while using my watch.
I just want to get rid of it.
Your welcome. Up vote the answer so it gets flagged for everyone else.as a solution.
Hello Garmin. I suggest setting the XC skiing ftp to 1w as default when loading the initial firmware. this should stop it showing up and being very annoying. See my suggested solution that worked for me.
Do you have an extra trick to do that? I can only save anything bigger than 25W
I used the iOS connect app. Just scrolled it down to 1 w.
It’s reported under FTP not VO2 Max.
It will only allow me to enter a min of 25W which gives me a 0.34 W/kg for my (never performed) XC Skiing!
Are you on iOS or Android? I’m on iOS.
I'm on iOS too. If I change it to 1 it reverts to the previously saved value. Same on the web.
Did your XC Ski FTP disappear from the FTP report page?
Yes it did. I still have two on the page but they both have the same reading. One is labeled VO2 Max the other is cycling VO2 max. My device is a Fenix 7. I don’t know if that would make a difference if you are using a different device. Or do you have two watches registered?
Check your Performance Stats >> FTP (not VO2 Max). I suspect you still have XC Skiing in there?
Was so exicted to see this. Sadly it did not work for me :(. After many sync attempts Connect (via the web) as well as Connect (the app) and directly on the watch itself refuse to accept the ftp = 1 for XC Ski. In fact they just ignore the value I enter whenever I "save" and then revert to 118 or 119.
