Hello everyone,
We have not forgotten about this disruption. I apologize for the delay, but it's still under active investigation.
I will update this thread when I know more.
Hi ColinvZ,
I'm very sorry to anybody who is experiencing this. Your comments have been heard, and I've seen progress on the report. It is still under investigation and is still escalated.
I'm…
All,
Thank you for the information that you have provided. We will continue our investigation and post any updates in this thread. Thank you in advance for your patience while we continue this investigation…
All, if you see a Cross Country Skiing FTP without having any Cross Country Ski activities saved in your account, please reply with the following:
Has anyone else this problem?
For me it is a problem that Garmin reports results/status from an activity form that I have Never Ever performed while using my watch.
1. Estonia. but this is completely irrelevant.
2. hereby i give it for you, yes. but this is completely irrelevant.
3. i'm not bothering with it, because it's completely irrelevant.
4. iPhone 15…
It's not a direct answer to your question but why not simply ignore it?
I got an updated ftp for cross country skiing today. The ftp are crappy 1,72W/kg. Activity was an easy run 14k, 5:10min/k. I use the HRM pro and got an average of 329w today. I don't know if the ftp for cross country skiing correlates with the power of the HRM pro. I have this problem since I use a Powermeter for my TT bike. The bike ftp is much higher. Maybe Garmin is playing around with power/ftp for running for the upcoming 955?
I just want to get rid of it.

Why is it a problem? Is the number affecting any of your running or cycling or other activities? Is it getting in the way of anything. Perhaps explain why it's a problem?
It's a metric that's all. In much the same way as some folk have a cycling VO2 without having ever cycled.

Do you have the same issue?
If issue=cross country skiing FTP data shows though I never performed that kind of activity then Yes.
I only log cycling (with or without power meter).
I just noticed this as well. 1.66 watts per kg for cross country skiing. It’s bugging me too. Interestingly, it says it was recorded on a Friday which is my rest day. So, I didn’t even have an activity.
I also noticed this. At that particular day I did an easy run. By the way, it was Friday the 13th in May.
