Hi! Try this. If GC asks for sign in, just end the app (double click home button and end GC) do not logo in. The try opening it again. It works for me. But it is weird.

Same issue here except Vivoactive 3 (about a month old) and iPhone 8, all software up to date. I wrote a review on the App Store to report the problem. It also removed my credit card from Garmin Pay and when I get the app reconnected to my watch, it doesn’t allow me to add a card. The screen is black after I tap on Add Card and I can only go back or go to which cards are supported.
Edit: tried Garmin Pay a couple more times and it finally worked!
