I had this problem and fixed it. The issue is probably that the .fit file is corrupt/damaged. Plug your watch into your computer and open the drive, then go to activities and find the activity in question…
Metrics like steps were loading but activities were not. I also could upload the files manually so they weren't corrupted. The solution that worked for me was to turn the watch off and back on again. After…
Exact situation and they try to make it sound rare I have a one plus phone.
Exactly the same problem. I can see all activity data of my connections, and they can see mine, but I can’t see my own! Connect is on latest update as is watch. Deleted connect and reinstalled multiple times etc. Only started this week, hoping it will sort itself.
I’m on 12.5.5 which is the latest my iPhone 6s will allow. When I download Connect it always says ‘download older version’ which I do and it has always run perfectly, apart from refusing to work every month or so requiring deleting/ re downloading. I won’t be wasting money on a newer phone so was keen to know of any fixes
seilogramp, can you have a look into the following file? Everything seems to be correct on the watch (i.e. data of the activity and activity itself), but does not show up in the app or browser. Seems to be corrupted as I get an error message when trying to manually upload the fit file:
Thanks in advance and all the best

Great! Thanks a lot. I am really not sure why this happens.
Does deleting all activity data from the watch (not Garmin Connect) help in preventing issues with corrupte fit files? I.e. clean up the watch?
Does deleting all the activities from the watch have any downsides? Any impacts on load, calories or whatever? I don't think so. But just to make sure.
Best

This is the typical suggestion...
- Sync your watch then remove all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
- Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
- Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again
Alright, makes sense! Thanks for the insight. Will do it!
seilogramp Will you take a look at this one for me please? I can't seem to get it to work.
Thank you for your help!!
