Vivofit doesn't sync with Connect Mobile - Sync Upload Error - please try again later

Hi,

Since a few days now my vivofit refuses to sync with my phone (HTC One M8), the syncing starts, and soon after ends with the error message "Sync Upload Error. Please try again later".

Prior to this I didn't have any problem syncing, and then all of a suddent this started happening. The phone "sees" the vivofit fine that I can tell, I tried to logout and log back into Connect. No change.

Any idea about how to solve this issue?

  • Yup - having issues here as well - try to sync via BT / IOS / Connect Mobile and get "Sync failed Network Error" msg - - - - try to sync with Garmin Connect / MAC Os / and get a sync failed msg there too - - - first encountered this morning 08:00 Jan 6, 2015 JST...

    Quite frustrating and something I never encountered when using a competitors fitness band for over 1 year... :(
  • Had my vivofit since August,never had an issue until the 3rd trying to sync. Same error as everyone else. Sent in a log, and all.

    Part of me is happy this is happening, the main reason is server load would be my guess. That means a LOT more people have garmin devices. The bad things is(as a Kansas city native were garmin US is based) I know how they have been treating their database people and developers... So let's hope this fixes itself, or they do some hiring to aliviate the problem.

    I've had my Vivofit since August and never had a problem syncing u tul a couple of days ago.....I, thinking that everyone who got one for the holidays is jamming the server.

    I've started having same problem in last few days, on both my new vivofit and my Edge 810. Both would sync fine before then; probably 4 days ago. Given up using iOS/Garmin Connect app/Bluetooth for the 810 as I just can't get it to upload the activity files / download no problem.

    Having same issue.... Failed uploading file. Seeing reason=504, and reason=500

    Same here on the Galaxy S5, took all the same steps, Uninstall, reinstall, unpair, re-pair, nothing. If it is their servers being overloaded and, judging by all the posts, how many unhappy customers there are, why aren't they posting anything??

    For the past 4 days I've tried to sync my vivofit, but I keep getting, "Sync Failed. Server Error". Very frustrating! Any suggestions??

    My vivofit isn't syncing or now pairing. I got an error reason.= 500, nothing is working with this thing. I had MyFitnessPal sync for a day and now that stopped, what is going on with this product. I am beyond frustrated and now getting angry with it. Someone needs to contact me and fix this.. [email][email protected][/email]. with my Fitbit they got back to me within 24 hrs and replaced when need be. This is ridiculous.
