Vivofit doesn't sync with Connect Mobile - Sync Upload Error - please try again later

Hi,

Since a few days now my vivofit refuses to sync with my phone (HTC One M8), the syncing starts, and soon after ends with the error message "Sync Upload Error. Please try again later".

Prior to this I didn't have any problem syncing, and then all of a suddent this started happening. The phone "sees" the vivofit fine that I can tell, I tried to logout and log back into Connect. No change.

Any idea about how to solve this issue?

    I am facing exactly the same problem. Couldn't sync anymore. Tried to pair newly. Uninstalled garmin connect and reinstalled. Same error all the time. My android phone recognizes the vivofit device, finds also correct pair code starts to connect unless failing on the last mile... Since yesterday nothing changed?



    Same here syncing with nexus 7 tablet, nexus 5 phone, or an iMac. All a no go just started today.

    Looks like a common problem this weekend. Last synced about noon EST time today. Both mine, and my wifes vivosmart wont sync. Glad to see it appears to be more widespread vs a problem with our vivosmarts.

    I did send a device sync audit as noted earlier in this thread.

    I'm new to this, and frustrated. spent a lot of time today thinking i had something setup wrong.

    I do apologize you were unable to sync your device. We experienced a brief service interruption over the weekend that has been resolved. If you are still experiencing a problem please contact us via email or phone at the following link: http://support.garmin.com
  • Up until this morning everything was working fine.
    Now I get the sync error again.
    Please, help.

    I am having the sync issue as of today 1/5/2015. I just sent the sync log to the email address from the 2nd post of this thread. Is anyone else experiencing any sync issues?

    I was trying to sync HRM data from my training session today and got the dreaded red error message to "try again later".

    Me too ! I got the vivofit for Christmas. I was happy at first ... the first 3 days. After experiencing errors like this I am now looking for a new smart watch from a different company. It's very frustrating. I would suggest Garmin staffs to read the book "Satisfied Customers Tell Three Friends, Angry Customers Tell 3,000: Running a Business in Today's Consumer-Driven World ".

    So frustrated with this product

    i am having this same problem and am beyond frustrated. I spent a lot of money on this product because I loved being able to record data electronically without having to hand write in a journal each day. The Bigfoot seems to be measuring things fine, but I cannot sync the data at all. It worked for the first couple of days, and then as of yesterday will not let me sync at all. I have deleted and reinstalled the app on both my Samsung Galaxy and MacBook pro and neither will sync. I also unpaired the device and now and unable to pair in back. Both my 4g network and wifi signal are very good. If it is not resolved in the next day or two I will be returning this product as there are many cheaper products without a phone app that I could use if it means manually recording data.
