Vivofit doesn't sync with Connect Mobile - Sync Upload Error - please try again later

Hi,

Since a few days now my vivofit refuses to sync with my phone (HTC One M8), the syncing starts, and soon after ends with the error message "Sync Upload Error. Please try again later".

Prior to this I didn't have any problem syncing, and then all of a suddent this started happening. The phone "sees" the vivofit fine that I can tell, I tried to logout and log back into Connect. No change.

Any idea about how to solve this issue?

    In Settings > About > Device Sync Audit arrow over to the day the error occured. (Or, attempt a sync again, and then load today's report.) Press the "share" icon in the actionbar, and email the report to GCMDeviceSyncAudit at Gmail.com

    I just sent my sync audit as I also have just started getting the same error message. I have an HTC one M7, was working fine but seems to have stopped syncing from 27th July?

    As of now I still can't get my vivofit to sync with the One M8 anymore. Any idea what the problem could be? It's over a week for me now -- none of my recent activity data has made it to Garmin connect.

    As with everyone else here my sync stopped working last week (Samsung Galaxy S5). Just sent report. Let's see if something is actually done. I have my doubts.

    I have a Galaxy S4 and it also stopped syncing yesterday....

    I just sent my device audit report as well. I also experienced the sync issue.
  • same problem here. the first failure showed this error in the audit :

    ---Sync Info---
    ******************** SYNC RESULT ********************
    Upload Status=FAILED [Failed uploading file [3883268656_6_8020.tmp]. Reason=Server took too long to process the file]
    Download Status=SUCCESSFUL (No item to process)
    Time Sync Status=SUCCESSFUL
    Overall Sync Status=FAILED
    *****************************************************

    ... then after that I get...

    ---Sync Info---
    ******************** SYNC RESULT ********************
    Upload Status=FAILED [Unable to complete operation: Remote device disconnected [3883268656]]
    Download Status=NOT STARTED
    Time Sync Status=FAILED [Remote device disconnected]
    Overall Sync Status=FAILED
    ***********************************************
    I'll send the logs to that Gmail address.

    Sorry guys, I was on vacation last week. I'll check the logs today and talk with product support about what's going on. Someone from prod support will reply here soon. - Doug
  • Thanks Doug - synching is working fine now so it looks like it got fixed (for me at least).
