Vivofit doesn't sync with Connect Mobile - Sync Upload Error - please try again later

Hi,

Since a few days now my vivofit refuses to sync with my phone (HTC One M8), the syncing starts, and soon after ends with the error message "Sync Upload Error. Please try again later".

Prior to this I didn't have any problem syncing, and then all of a suddent this started happening. The phone "sees" the vivofit fine that I can tell, I tried to logout and log back into Connect. No change.

Any idea about how to solve this issue?

    I am experiencing this problem with my new vivosmart. This afternoon I bought it having fw 2.8 and all was fine, sync worked every time without issue on my Oneplus One. I then updated to fw 3.0 using Garmin express on my Mac and then it seemed to go wrong. After 2 reinstall cycles on the smartphone (reinstall app, remove device and so on) as everything worked except the sync (notifications, audio control etc were ok) I finally found this forum entry bringing me to the sync logging settings page. What a huge amount of time wasted, as the error is a tmp file sync to the server (?) where the answer is "the server took too long to respond"... So nothing was ever wrong on the Bluetooth side... I love the device btw, but pls get your server availability stable so new users don't have to mess around thinking their invested money is wasted.

    Can not update via phone app or Garmin Express.

    This is getting to be one pain the the backside now.
    Almost every week there is a problem.

    Yes it is up again but very slow uploading........
  • Yeah, it's going to be slow for most of the day, as those that couldn't sync yesterday are doing it now. That is in addition to the normal Sunday upload queue.

    pls someone help me, tried several times, it syncs today's activities but not last night.. now is 8.15 a.m.

    is this forum still up? i just got a vivofit 3 after screwing around 2 days, i finally got to pair, but it refuses to sync. i saw a early post about getting a report, but i see no "about" or any audit in the version i have...windows 10 the ver is 3.23.1 i had a vivofit 2, and that worked well with ant stick....
