Error upon set up

Hei! I just got my venu watch today and upon set up, the safety features and live tracking just shows error when I try to open them.. So I haven't fully set up my watch. How to manage this?

    Okay, thank you for providing that! Does it do this if you turn off Wi-Fi and only use cellular data?

    Hello Isabella,
    I tried to reinstall the app and do it only using cellular data but without any success.

    But I found a workaround.

    Install the app on another device (I tried with my Ipad),

    Connected the watch to the Ipad.

    Did the setup (live tracking and emergency contact).

    Connected the watch to my phone again (Huawei P30), and now everything is working.

    Okay, how interesting! Is the watch still connect to the Garmin Connect on your Ipad? Or did you go through and remove it and then add it to your Huawei?

    I removed the app from my iPad, the watch is just connected to my phone.

    Hello! I bought the same Garmin Venu and I also have the same set up problem, an error message comes up. I’ve tried to delete and download the app three times and I keep receiving the same message. What can I do?

    Hi. I came across this thread while having this issue when trying to set up the safety features on the Connect app. Similar issue. Setup shows one remaining activity, configure safety features however when entering the name, city and state/county details, it is not possible to select the next button and so not possible to complete the configuration.

    It's most frustrating and spoiling what has been a good user experience so far.

    Garmin Lily watch with Google Pixel 4a.
