unable to pair samsung s9 and forerunner245

anyone got Bluetooth connection working between samsung s9 and forerunner 245?

I'm getting "pairing failed" error every time

245 is on latest fw

s9 has latest update too - andorid9

some folks here reported that it is not working for them on android9... but I'm not sure if this is rather s9 issue or global android9 issue

a bit frustrating...

Update to 3.10 didn't solve the problem

My 645m won't pair with s9+ any longer. Full reset of watch, reinstall of app w/clearing of data/cache. Can't really peg the reason, but I did apply the latest security updates for my s9 recently.

Nah. Unfortunately I'm still unable to connect my samsung & garmin 245. Currently I'm on sw ver. 4.00. But still no luck

It is as not a cheap device and v.frustrating that cannot pair with the phone or use the live track

yea tell me about it... it is actually expansive as hell. I have it now for maybe 6 months but mobile phone connect functionality is useless... I should have stayed with polar maybe :( oh well...

You have the watch for 6 months and did not contact the support? Or did they refuse to help? Did you try following the instructions in the user manual, and in FAQ's? Did you read the diverse troubleshooting guides, and the tips available here on the forum? You can start for example with this thread - there are multiple links with important tips and hints:
