unable to pair samsung s9 and forerunner245

anyone got Bluetooth connection working between samsung s9 and forerunner 245?

I'm getting "pairing failed" error every time

245 is on latest fw

s9 has latest update too - andorid9

some folks here reported that it is not working for them on android9... but I'm not sure if this is rather s9 issue or global android9 issue

a bit frustrating...

I went through all the suggestions but nothing worked so far.

In fact, I was able to start the pairing process only once - I confirmed the number on watch - and then connect app just got stuck with spinning progress bar and that was it. I don't see the watch in phone BT list (outside of connect app), nor in devices list on my pc/laptop...

Did you turn on the BT on the watch? Did you also try pairing the watch following the installation instructions of the watch - it means using Garmin Connect Mobile, and initilializing it from the watch?
