Find my phone - no sound on phone

Lately the find my phone feature no longer makes the phone sound an alarm. I think this happened from the new Garmin Connect version.

Do I have to change some settings?

I have a Fenix 3 watch.

in Android 10, insure the Garmin App is configured to "Display over other apps".

Hi, If you are using Android 10, you may need to set your "Appear On Top" for the Connect app in the setting to ON as well for the flash and tone to work.

It works for mine the moment I toggle…

This worked for me too! All I did was turn the camera permission back on. (iphone 12 pro max on iOS 14.4)

It was frustrating the hell out of me because it was like a game of hot/cold watching the coloured bars on the watch increase or decrease as my proximity to my phone changed.

Having sound again, for a menopausal woman who loses her phone about 15 times a day, is a true sanity saver!!

Former Member this worked for me thanks (Fenix 6X Pro / Android 10) I updated permissions for Garmin Connect on my phone to allow both "Display pop-up window" and "Display pop-up windows while running in the background". I don't know if both pop-up permissions are required or only one but it works now so I am going to leave as is.

On an iPhone, try enabling ‘Allow Push Notifications’ to ‘On’, even if the options below are all ‘off’, the phone makes the sound for you to locate it. This worked for me!

Remove your watch from Bluetooth connection and after add your watch again! It fix my problem!
