in Android 10, insure the Garmin App is configured to "Display over other apps".
Hello. Had the same problem. Found this page. https://jeff.thatonedomain.com/fenix-3-hr-find-my-phone-stops-working/ I powered my Vivosmart off and on (ha!) and it now works again. Kind of. It rings one…
Hi, If you are using Android 10, you may need to set your "Appear On Top" for the Connect app in the setting to ON as well for the flash and tone to work.
It works for mine the moment I toggle…
Each application on you phone has its volume setting. Run the Garmin Connect app on your phone, then set your phone volume to the max. This way, when your watch finds your phone, it will be loud
For me it was a physical problem... The watch buzzer just got stuck. So I kept sending find my device from my phone noting it would light up with the device found message but no buzz. So I kept tapping the device vigorously and kept repeating the signal and eventually it started to vibrate again. None of the software suggestions had worked... Only the tapping. Weird I know but it's perfect now.
Nope, that doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy 9 which is linked to my Fenix 3? Basically volume turned up, go on Find my Phone on the Fenix activate, it lights up indicating the phone is near by as it should but there's no audible ringing? Go into Garmin connect on the phone app touch Find my Phone & it starts ringing with a message stating that the phone was found by my device! Which is really pointless as this was the device I was meant to be looking for! So basically it only rings once I've found it & go into the app on the phone! Arrrrrrrrrrrgh!

After flipping the "Display over other apps" switch, the Garmin find my phone feature works as expected, i.e. my phone flashes the light, vibrates, and plays a sounds when the find my phone feature is activated regardless if the Garmin app is open.
