Connect IQ won’t update Venu 2 sq

I can’t update Connect IQ store so I can’t get new face watch. 

I uninstalled the app and start over but it doesn’t work. 

It’s for the version 2.0.14. 

Everything work perfectly before this update. 

Please fix it.

  • Are you able to go into the App Store on your iPhone and update the Connect IQ Store app? The latest version is V2.27.1

    If you continue to have issues after updating, please contact Product Support for assistance.

  • Hi. I am having the same issue with updating to version 2.0.14. I just purchased my venu sq 2 music and I have been having trouble updating the Connect IQ store. I am also unable to download any other app like Spotify onto my watch. I have tried through the Connect IQ app and via Garmin Express on my laptop. It shows it's installing but it never actually does. It does not show that there is an update available in the app store so I am unable to update from there. Can you please assist. Thank you.   • Hello, I am having the same issue with the same venu sq 2 music. I cannot install any app or data field. I removed and reinstalled Connect and Connect IQ, reset my watch, removed the cache from both Connect and Connect  IQ apps. I tried Garmin Express as well.. I don't know what to do anymore.. Please help.. 

  • Hi. I found another forum where users were experiencing the same problem. Apparently a ticket has been issued to the engineers. One user, 9875405 said this: "Maybe there are good news for you:

    I just could fix this issue for my Samsung S8:

    For this it was necessary to grant the Connect IQ-App on my phone the permissions for "contacts", "storage" and "my location" (maybe there are not all of them necessary). After that I was able to update to 2.0.14 and then it was possible to transfer apps from the IQ Store to my watch again. Hopefully this works also for you :-)"

    It did not work for me but hopefully it can be helpful for you. I am still awaiting a response from Garmin.

  • I just called Garmin Belgium and they confirmed a general software problem with the Venu Sq 2 watches. They are trying to solve it..

  • I just contacted Garmin Belgium and they confirmed a general software problem with the Garmin Venu Sq 2.. let's hope they solve it soon.

  • I am having the same problem. I can't add new watch faces or apps, or even update apps. Neither the Connect IQ Store app nor Garmin Express work for me at all. 

  • Same for me with venu SQ2. I contacted Garmin France, tried the proposed solution by installing Garmin Express an reinstalling Connect IQ with no success.
