Cannot connect to Garmin Servers

Hi, I'm trying to sync my Garmin device with Garmin Express and consistently get unable to connect errors. Have looked at a couple of threads with respect to the update service and that has not resolved the problem. Have uninstalled all Garmin software rebooted and installed Garmin Express only followed by update service change. Is there anything else that I can do to resolve the problem?

    i´m facing the same problem. I tried garmin express, bt, and nothing worked. Any reply from Garmin?

    I have been having similar issues. I have reinstalled garmin express, and it reports syncing error. I have deleted and re-installed connect from my iPhone 6. Before, it was reporting server error, now says it can't pair with my vivofit

    Same problem here. My Forerunner 410 transfers data to the ANT stick, but cannot transfer data to Garmin due to Garmin server problem.

    Just gave another try and it has been successful ! :D
    Servers seem to be back !

    I noticed a problem with the garmin servers starting about 10:43 pm 11/01/14. This has continued through the dark hours ~4:30 am ... continuing into the afternoon ~3:15 plus ... continuing ~5:00 pm Giving up. That is well over 17 hours of downtime! which is unacceptable! 5:34 pm MST Servers are still Unavailable YEA!! 7:00 pm MST 11/02/14 The servers are up and my garmin watches are syncing. Wonder what happened that the servers would be down so long?

    I can confirm as well, I just successfully synced all my data. :cool:
  • having the same problem with my 910xt. i went as far as resetting my device and thereby deleting one week of unsynced activity, and the problem still exists whilst trying to sync test activities. i first suspected corrupt files, but could not pinpoint any, so i deleted my newer activities one by one and syncing in between, hoping to get rid of a "corrupt" file, but i didnt manage. (there is no way of finding out which file is corrupt, if any, is there?)

    whatever the case, garmin is pretty useless, and i often struggled, this time failing fully. the biggest problem is that we cannot get hold of the fit files without the damn ANT solution. i want to be able to extract files off my device manually, that way i wont have to depend on the faulty ANT sync system.

    i am pretty much devastated

    me too! only i deleted vivofit and now can't get it to see it!
