Basecamp and Enduro3

Hi folks,

I have just switched from Fenix 5 to Enduro 3
So far, I'm managing my tracks collection on my PC with Basecamp (500+ tracks: trail running, hiking & paramotor flying)
Until now, I'm connecting my Fenix via USB to my PC to upload tracks to my Fenix from Basecamp: quick, easy, efficient...

With my Enduro, I'm having the same issue as that one

I understand I have currently 2 options to upload tracks to my watch,
- export the GPX from Basecamp and upload it to Google Drive, then to Explore and finally sync with my watch
- export the GPX from Basecamp to my PC and put it over USB in the \\Garmin\NewFiles directory

That is obviously doable, but require 2 or 3 manipulations instead of one single one
Not exactly what I would call an improvement...

Do I have to understand that Basecamp is no longer usable directly with the Enduro watches??

100% agree: this is indeed not an option to lose crucial data from your tracks

Hi, dear friend. Do you mean if we use a cable to transfer GPX files into NEWFILES, we will lose our waypoints?

When I think about it, I find out it's true. Because BASECAMP was able to transfer those waypoints.

In fact, BASECAMP was a specific software to do that. After the third update continues, mine doesn't work.

No, just the icons you had configured using Basecamp.

Loading maps from devices is a well known limitation due to size and throughput.

You can use Garmin Express to transfer your maps to Basecamp.

But can you connect your E3 to Basecamp and drag and drop waypoints between them?

Hi. According to Garmin here is a list of devices NOT supported. Fenix is NOT on this list. So it is supported.
