Runs extremely slow in Big Sur

Question

Basecamp worked fine before I switched to the Big Sur Beta. 
 Now it runs extremely slow and I get the beach ball every time I click anything.

I have found a solution for me, MacBook Pro Late 2013: Select Menu "View" > "Show 3D Maps only" (translated from the German version, maybe the English version says something different). Then BaseCamp runs perfectly again in Big Sur 11.0.1.

See "3D solution" below. HOWEVER, please Garmin, do not consider this a valid long time workaround. 3D works but I hate it. Poor graphics and it is a nuisance to compare what I see in BC and what I see in ALL other map programs, as well as paper maps (yes, they still exist).

Why would other companies like Microsoft adapt to Big Sur during Beta ? Because the software has to run seamless at customer site at the day of release. And because Garmin is global player.
