Film Testing - Autumn 2025

The Morvan stages seem to be now tested, still awaiting the new feature. Apparently, it works!

I'm busy now making some films from the remaining Thailand footage. These will have to be tested asap if they show up, as tacx wants these out now in November, just when everyone heads inside to see what new content we have.

In the meantime, I'm publishing some of the hopefully amazing rides filmed this summer, which will not be released this winter, so no rush.  At least there will be something new while you wait.

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 64,6 kg. Average power - 1,89 W/kg.

    All good!

The camera was often tilted. It's noticeable in this video.
13.25 km – so much exhaust gas. I had to overtake a truck)  And there was a real smell in my nose)))

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 64,8 kg. Average power - 1,76 W/kg.

In my opinion, both looks nice.

All good, road-feeling worked on the concrete blocks.
It would be even greater if it were possible to change the interval of vibration to match distance between the blocks :)

Probably unrelated to the vids, but still something I'd like to share. It has been bugging me a lot.
Previously I shared that I experienced choppy/stuttering video on one of the Finestre vids.
Today I experienced the same on this Thailand video. It's like the framerate is 5 or 10 fps when cornering. It's awful :( I always use 1080p downloaded videos for playback. My PC only runs TDA, nothing else. Memory is 1/3 in use. CPU did not even go above 25-30%.
Shortly before this ride I upgraded TDA Beta to latest 4.74.4.0 but still I experienced this choppy playback.
I should also mention I experienced this choppy/jerky video playback on Public TDA yesterday on the  "Vernon to Kelowna (Canada)" ride.
Because of all the above I highly doubt it is related to any video.

The only thing I can identify which has changed when all this started, was my recent upgrade to 25h2 release of Windows 11.
So I guess my question is: Can anyone with TDA on Windows 11 verify this after upgrading to 25h2?

Does anyone else now experience more choppiness on the corners?  It could be if you download, the drive becomes more & more fragmented. It's something that does not happen so much nowadays. Can you try deleting a download & then just streaming it with the buffer? It will be lower quality. Another thing I know that can cause general mayhem is Windows downloading an update in the background.

If you can identify a specific corner that causes issues, I can make a short subcourse that we could all test even with the demo mode. Running these generally on my Mac with the washed-out IOS version, they run fine, but the quality is abysmal.

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. ANT+. Morning's weight is 64,8 kg. Average power - 1,74 W/kg.

I had the same problem as Peter today.
    The intervals when it happened:
    18.08 - 18.52 km
    20.71 - 20.8 km
    24.6 - 24.7 km
    31.36 - 31.51 km (after stop video)
Some intervals were on a turn, some on a straight line. The video was pre-downloaded.

I thought the video stopped. I must have ride further distance than the video showed.

    System: Windows 11 25H2. Intel i7-12700. RAM - 32 Gb. Videocard RTX 4060 8 Gb.

At 33.84 km, the gradient drops more than in the video.

The camera tilts frequently, but that's standard for Asia.

That moment I used only TDA.

    Thank you for this!
Because of your comment I will ride this Video tonight and share my findings. Maybe our experiences match exactly on these points/intervals.

Thanks for your input! I very much appreciate this.

My drive is SSD. I believe fragmentation (if any) is probably not the issues, although I'm not sure.
I will absolutely test when streaming. Good suggestion. Although I always experience buffer(?) (pixelation) issues on Beta when streaming. So it's hard to do some good testing. My internet connection is 1 Gbit fiber, all wired. I believe this can't be the issue.

You are absolutely right about a chance of "general mayhem" when Windows is doing updates in the background. I have had this experience several times in the past! I forgot to mention I've checked this before my ride last evening. I've searched for updates, applied all. Rebooted and checked that there are NO update available and then start Tacx Beta.

Also I should mention I run Tacx on a 77" Oled display. I can see every minor detail. Regardless, the choppy video playback should also be noticeable on small screens as well.

The description of IliaNSK: "Some intervals were on a turn, some on a straight line"
This is spot on the same problem I experience!
I will do the same ride "v2 022_ Chaolao Beach (Thailand)" tonight. I'm very curious.

Running Finestre 03 in demo mode on IOS (aging pimped out Macbook pro M1 max)..although the video is washed out & terrible looking it does run super smooth though all the corners on that long descent. I think this is something with the TDA build.

Ok, so here's my feedback on v2 022_ Chaolao Beach (Thailand)
First I must note that I've installed TDA Beta 4.75.0.0 before the ride. (Many updates lately!)

I'm going to split these in 3 categories.
MAJOR VIDEO ISSUES, Freezes of video
28km TO GO (Probably 18.08km into the ride but I wrote down the wrong number, haha)
    At 20.72 major issue
At 24.58 major issue after stop
    At 31.36 major issue
This is a different issue then the choppy video I mentioned.
This issue is also choppy video but far far far worse. There are moments when the video fully freezes. Hopefully Phil can correct this. It seems to be related to video stop and/or re-glued video back together.

And after reaching 0 km to go the video continues for a few meters. Similarly to what IliaNSK mentioned.

    Possible minor improvements
At 25.60 start concrete blocks but no road feeling.

General choppy video mostly observable while cornering "issue"
These observations can not be compared to the ones mentioned under "major issues" because the video never actually freezes. Another vague description but it feels the framerate has been wrongly converted or reduced by just removing frames.

    Choppyness at KM:
    1 99, 2.40, 7.00
    9.58!!!!
    19.47
    20.45!!
    26.11 sharp turn
Around 26.70 all choppiness even on the straights section for a few meters
    29.60 90c
    33.83, 34.20, 36.90, 39.42,
42.60 coming up to section already choppy (perhaps due to filming speed slowing?) and continues  through the corner_
At this point I stopped taking notes.
Basically I've noticed it in every serious corner.
