Film Testing - Autumn 2025

The Morvan stages seem to be now tested, still awaiting the new feature. Apparently, it works!

I'm busy now making some films from the remaining Thailand footage. These will have to be tested asap if they show up, as tacx wants these out now in November, just when everyone heads inside to see what new content we have.

In the meantime, I'm publishing some of the hopefully amazing rides filmed this summer, which will not be released this winter, so no rush.  At least there will be something new while you wait.

  • Looking forward to test some new films!
Talking about new films... Any idea if we will see any new publications on public TDA soon? It seems kind of dead to me, even though indoor season has started.

  • The first three stages of the Finestre routes have just been published in Beta. I filmed this content before I discovered that the new tool would be somewhat limited and not a solution for the main collection. The next batch for the main collection will include these Thai films, which I only learned about this week. This will happen.... after you all test them :-)

yes for sure October is just about the most important month of the year regarding displaying your new content/new app features etc to any company in the winter indoor trainer software market... January might be the busiest month, but it's now when you build your winter customer base. Every cyclist knows this

  • I did the first Finstre downhill lastnite, I made some comments on the facebook page... the app updated late yesterday for me, and the Finestre rides all disappeared.. going to go ride Vernon to Kelowna this morning so Ill see if they are back in there...

The Finestre rides are available in the older version still. Personally, these 3 are my favourite rides of the entire year, even if Finestre is brutal, :-). The climb up from the other side past the forts that are built all the way up the mountain, is utterly stunning/terrifying,  kind of hard to ride near the edge of the road lol..we then do the tarmac side up to the top of the Finestre on stage 3 so we have both sides in full...I had filmed it so we might have been able to make a left turn to descend down again & do the Sestriere & into France which is also all filmed & produced. But I doubt now that this will be an option, these will now be standalone rides to sit in the reserve.

  • I was going to do the main climb this morning but... I did Kelowna to Vernon, stuffs up on facebook I noted...

  • v2 Finestre 1 - Susa Valley

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 64,9 kg. Average power - 1,68 W/kg.

On the road section from 9.62 to 10.16 km, I would like to add road feel.
It seemed that road feeling was started at the beginning of the interval, but then disappeared.

    v1 Finestre 2

    TDM - 50% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 64,9 kg. Average power - 1,99 W/kg.
Today only 6.81 km from start. Its very fine. But I set the gradient 50% only.

You just gave your self a lower gear set!   50% is not cheating, your still going to have to push the watts & the climb will take as long as it would had you the correct gears to maintain this cadence at 50%

There was no road feeling at all haha, its added with v3 if it shows up

  • And it very good for me. Because with Tacx Neo I use Argon 18 E119 Tri+ and maximum gear 34/25.

Big gradient and 100% sometimes is very hard.

  • It's already instinctive.
See the paving stones and feeling the road )))
