  • v1 HogeVenen3 (Ardennes)

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 67.3 kg. Average power - 1.84 W/kg.

As Peter already wrote - 11.96 km - drop in gradient

    v3 has this drop fixed

  • v1 Highland1 - Bealach Na Ba (Scotland)

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 66.5 kg. Average power - 2.29 W/kg.

There were three grids. The first was a road feeling. The second and third - there was none. Kilometers 3.44 and 7.04.
For some reason, the camera is tilted some times.
After the gym yesterday it was hard. Especially when the maximum gear is 36/25.

There is no ClimbPro on the Highland2. For some reason, the second part was not saved.

v2 adds the two grids but these might be too short to trigger the effect.

Climb Pro is still being manually added by someone else, so as we publish often new routes over night & weekends there will be a delay.  it would probably take the same code to make it something I can manually fix from my side as it would be to just automate it so it uses the KOMs in the rides we have...anyway Im fairly sure they will fix this at some point, but I would not bet my house on this anymore lol.

Sudden cut off the towpath just before the railway/road crossing was a bit disorientating.

Many cattle grids with no road feel.

One wooden bridge randomly had road feel, the rest didn't.

I guess the above are all a function of speed?

Incline/video all seemed well matched. Another of those that had me feeling like I was going to fall forward off the bike as the road suddenly dropped!

When finishing the stage, the video looped about 6 times doing the 180 degree turn.

Good ride. No climbpro yet on sunday.
There were 2 sections in which I was a bit confused/in doubt by/with the gradients. These were not caused by stop/start so I blame the visuals. And otherwise hopefully another tester will point them out as it deserves some better testing :)

    v2 Highland1 - Bealach Na Ba (Scotland)
I experienced road feel on the first 3 grids!! The first one halfway on the first KOM was terrible. It started and ended(!) before the grid and it was a really sudden rough roadfeeling, probably due to low speed (this was on BT and 3.5-4W/kg so not too slow)
Verry happy there was climbpro data. Now I could clearly see that I was in for a world of hurt. Average of the climb sneaking from 6% to 10% and those lovely 14%-16% sections. Pffffff :) Oh, and a good ride, no issues.

  • Really, the road feeling from the first grid is 10-20 meters earlier (v2 Highland1 - Bealach Na Ba (Scotland))

  • v1 NE Corner, Sardinia

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 67.4 kg. Average power - 2.17 W/kg.

All good. There has one grid - 10.95 km. Without road feeling.

    v2 Highland2 - AppleCross Coast Road (Scotland) - first 15.89 km.

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 67.4 kg. Average power - 1.93 W/kg.

    All good.

Gradients were spot on, everything was perfect, until the last quarter of the ride.
It's hard to explain but it seemed the trainer was not able to react quickly enough to the quick/harsh changes in gradient. It felt like changes in resistance was lagging and off by like 3-7 seconds.
Visually (the roads) looked good compared to the ClimbPro widget data. So there's nothing to fix?
It was the most extreme at the start of the last climb in which the bike resistance felt like going downhill for a while... Looking at the profile you can see there's a big drop before the start of the climb.
I was connected with BT which offers me the best experience. Maybe this was a local issue with my trainer, but if anyone can double-check that would be great!

@IliaNSK, I've read you only did the first kilometers of this ride. Can you test the last part of this video and share your experience?

  • v2 Highland1 - Bealach Na Ba (Scotland)

Fixed/changed the location of that first cattle grid, it's very short, so will probably stay on a bit after passing it, but it should start correctly now.

  • v2 Highland2 - AppleCross Coast Road (Scotland). Last 13.81 km.

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 67.7 kg. Average power - 2.32 W/kg.  Downloaded.

Everything was fine. Maybe because the power was lower or the video was downloaded.

    v3 Highland3 - LochCarron (Scotland)

    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 67.7 kg. Average power - 2.22 W/kg.  Downloaded.

    Everything good too.
    The grid was on kilometers: 3.08 & 7.34 & 29.34 & 30.58 (descent)
Sometimes the camera tilted, but not for long time. I'm need to train harder ;)
