    TDM - 100% / RFI - 100%. BT. Morning's weight is 67.1 kg. Average power - 2.27 W/kg.

    Grid on the road: 21,03 & 22.89 & 25.53 & 30.00 km

Wooden bridge - 27.46 km and more.

Need to add a road feeling in those areas?

    No Climb Pro

The road is constantly up and down. The good inertia of the trainer saves.

I would do all the climbs and descents 20 meters earlier.

Lovely ride. Beautiful views. No big issues, but really annoying there was this fence at the end :) Was it the plan to continue on there? Why was it closed off? Does this road just stop there? So many questions :D
I'd prefer if the video stops exactly when the gate is the last thing shown on screen. (not showing the 180). To me this would be much more satisfactory considering the second stage is the return.

The video cut at around 900m was weird. Like two totally different videos that were glued together.
Climbpro was missing, but I also read somewhere that this feature requires certain length and average ascend? Normally I'm a big fan of KOM's but these short ones didn't add anything to my experience.
This ride was very undulating. There were a few times a very short descend was visible but not shown on the gradient widget. Maybe all this quick up/down/ep/down was a bit challenging for the altimeter? In any case it didn't bother me at all.

Will open it up again & look, I seem to remember that we go to the end of the canal where there is a small lighthouse & do the 180 turn. You’re probably right that I should have just ended it then. I think I might be able to just delete that return bit even though the video file will have that return haha.

    • will also take a look at the grades, but this was probably the most extremely undulating road I’ve ever filmed. It’s both ways next to the loch. Stage 1 does the gravel canal cycle path out.

noted will tighten it up a bit

  • Both stages have updates (will be tomorrow as something else is publishing today) I cut the ending of Stage 2 so it now ends just after the gate at the end of the peninsular (its a nice view ) & I tightened both stages up 1 second, so all the grades hit just a tiny bit faster.

    Thanks!

I however made a mistake with the stages.
My comment was on "v2 Great Glen 1 (Scotland)" and not stage 2. My bad! I did not fully finish riding 2 yet..
On Great Glen 1 the film ends at the gate after doing the 180 return. My suggestion was to cut exactly at the gate so the return is not visible. I'm not sure what you cut off Stage 2 now :-) will try once the new versions pop up.

LOL Well I cut at "the gate" at the end of stage 2.. just ride it & see if its actually needed as it still has the final part that doubles back to where stage 1 started, I could just leave it otherwise & not update. The two stages are partly an out & back (the Loch & the final couple of Km of the canal are the same but going different directions so wanted the start of stage 2 to not have a sudden 180° turn...your probably right that I could just cut that turn part & I will do so with the next update....to Stage1 (v4) :-)

I just finished the old/current stage 2 version with the turn. I wanted to see how it looks before the new version gets published. I guess you've cut off around 800m of the stage 2 video then? I think I prefer this over a video with a turn. I will re-test once the new version is available :)

And for the rest of stage 2. It's all good! good vids which the public will enjoy!

    Grid on the road: 16.24 & 18.88 & 20.74 km.

    Wooden bridge - 0.49 & 1.44 & 2.03 & 2.18 & 12.72? & 14.32 km and maybe more.

No Climb Pro - no ETA.

18.57 km - the gradient numbers look bigger than the video.
It's hard to train on such terrain. It was an easy training.
I liked the turn back. This should be left.

All good. Nice allround profile with a few climbs on which climbpro worked.
