I would run the morning for about 10 min and then still train and keep my watch on throughout the day ( I am very active) then by the end of the day I have done under 3000 steps. I find this impossible

Hello, Are you holding anything when you run in that hand? Pushing a stroller, walking a dog? During the day, are you holding on to handrails when walking up stairs? Do you feel your arm is moving a full motion all day when wearing the device?
No not holding anything. My arms move freely yes. Find this very inaccurate. I had a tom tom previous to this watch and my steps were always over 10000 per day which is more likely, also the amount of calories burnt seems accurate it is just the steps, maybe I have not set it up properly?
The device should automatically count the steps. Can you sync your device then do a reset. Hold the device key for 10 seconds until the screen turns off. Then release the device key and the device will turn back on. Can you then tell me after the end of a full day if there was any change in the step count?
I have done this but unfortunately didnt work as I was hoping. I see there is others complaining about the same thing?
