vivoactive 3 after firmware upgrade to 8.20 still having sensor version 6.60

Last week my vivoactive 3 upgraded to firmware version 8.20, but still reports the sensor version as 6.60.

About a year ago there were some threads discussing a sensor hub software version 6.64, which my vivoactive 3 never received.

Does somebody know, what changes were included in sensor hub software version 6.64?

Is it safe to apply the sensor hub 6.64 fix from https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/healthandwellness/f/vivoactive-3-3-music/280278/sensor-hub-6-64-fix-information to my vivoactive 3 with firmware 8.20?

Sensor version 6.60 is the official release version. 6.64 was only used as a workaround to try and recover devices if it was showing 0.00. So unless you manually install 6.64, it will never…

Today I dared to install the sensor hub 6.64 fix, but afterwards it stll reports sensor version 6.60.

What sensor version do you have on your vivoactive 3?

Sensor version 6.60 is the official release version. 6.64 was only used as a workaround to try and recover devices if it was showing 0.00. So unless you manually install 6.64, it will never be pushed to you automatically.
