Vivoactive 3 battery drain

I've never had a battery problem with VA3 until 8.10 update.

There is a locked thread but I would like to open again this issue because it is unethical by Garmin. I live in Greece so I've contacted local support and they told me that it is a hardware issue that perhaps appeared after the update?!!!

Also that it is not possible to downgrade the firmware. The only solution is to get a refurbished (~130 euros). Anyone can understand that it is ridiculous since you can buy an amazfit or a huawei or a Fitbit brand new with that money.

Why doesn't Garmin allow to downgrade the firmware via Garmin express?

Why doesn't Garmin fix the issue since it has been reported by a lot of VA3  owners?

And if the problem is indeed a massive hardware failure, why doesn't Garmin announce that their devices will not last as it was expected because they are not capable of creating reliable hardware?

There is only one way I guess, boycott Garmin and don't buy again.
