Burns from Garmin Vivoactive 3

Hi

Garmin replaced my watch last year as I contacted them in July 2020 due to the watch sensor had Burt my arm so badly.

My watch was still within warranty as bought for my birthday the previous March 2019!!

I  couldn’t put the new one on for several months as the burn needed to heal, it was then lockdown and Xmas so didn’t bother.

On January 2nd  2021 I started to wear the new one they had sent and now 8 weeks later have developed burns again.

The watch never gets wet although this shouldn’t matter as it’s waterproof.

The watch is cleaned with wipes/ antibacterial gel regularly

The watch doesn’t get hot!!

Im now once again,  unable to use it it’s still well within warranty and I would like a refund!!

It’s scarred my wrist so badly the first time I’m not sure that trading standards would be best pleased it’s done it again!!

Personally I think it’s damaged my skin so badly I will not be able to wear any watch with a sensor going off, it’s been left super sensitive and scarred!!

Luckily I kept all my emails from Garmin the first time round so I could sent it direct to the previous link

They have responded asking the usual questions about cleanliness, heat, water but none of these apply just like the first time round   It’s clearly a fault in the watch

I will take this further due to the scaring it has left on my wrist  the first time round they did what was right and replaced it   This time round I need my money back as it’s unacceptable

I do hope the do the right thing  this could not end well for a Garmin product permanently scaring a customer!!
