Vivoactive 3 battery drain s/w 6.60 problem

Hello,After the 6.60 software update my vivoactive 3 battery, discharged  quickly and the watch turned off for less than 12 hours.

Garmin how to corrige that ?

  • Since updating to 6.6 a couple days ago battery drain has been 8-10%/ hr- today it went from 100% to Zero in 5 hours despite me  turning everything off (widgets, HR, BT) etc...  This is crazy.  I would be more than happy to downgrade to previous version if they would let us as right now the watch is completely useless.

  • Same problem.  It’s not even good as a watch!!!

  • I have the same 12 hrs from full charge without using the gps ,come on garmin fix the issue you started

    Same problem, bevor was 4-5 days without charging, after the update max. 2 days without charging.

    same....very disappointing. I presume that 6.60 just *** up the software and Garmin have no idea how to fix it...

  • Yes, I have the same problem too. Despite resetting the watch, the battery drain problem still remain the same. This is after 6.60 software update. It is extremely terrible, my battery can only last 1 day, it is worse than most smartwatch out there! Garmin, pls fix it asap!

  • It's been going on for me for over a month now, Garmin support was no help whatsover, and there's not even been so much as a statement from Garmin that they're looking into what is obviously an issue for several owners of this watch.  I believe I'm going to just give up and buy a Fitbit Ionic.  Battery life was the main reason I bought this watch (less than a year ago), and now it's basically useless as I have to charge it morning and evening every day.  

  • I´ve been with the same issue since 6 months ago , and several people too, its incredible that Garmin doesnt offer a solution or at least an explanation , 6 months ago my VA3 went from lasting 6 days to 2/3 days, and since 6.60 it doesnt even last 1 day (5,70%/ hour, NO HR, phone disconnected, etc)  , it´s obviously a software problem and i cant believe that they cant solve this
