When trying to add new music or sync spotify I get a message saying that it is unable to get content. Hard reset doesn't fix this. Don't really want to remove and add spotify again.

Don't really want to remove and add spotify again.
I would wonder why: it seems the first thing I would do (after rebooting the watch, but I am sure you already did that) and a rather simple and non painful task...
Same problem on Fenix 5 HR. Buggy Garmin software again - it is the most frustrating product company on the planet.
EVERYTHING with Garmin is painful.....
I had this problem on my Fenix 5X. The watch was returning "Unable to add content" when I tried to view the playlists I had just created in Spotify. Here's what I did:
- Close Connect IQ on the phone
- Restart the watch
- Open Connect IQ on the phone
- Update an existing playlist in the watch. The watch now shows "Connecting to WiFi network." It wasn't before, just the error.
- After existing playlist is updated, View Playlists.
- The watch now shows "Connecting to WiFi network" and the new playlists I added.
Hope this helps.
