Post-firmware update 3.60 issues

Hi all, anybody experiencing issues with their watch after latest firmware update (3.60) ?
After the update, watch froze a few times on play button, had to turn it off and back on again to get over it (hour + stuck). On top of that, Deezer app doesn't work.
I've tried reinstalling the app, but when I click on it to import playlists, it connects to wifi and then the big play button appears for a few seconds and it just goes back to watch functionality. I have premium Deezer account.

Hello, I think that the last update broke the pool swim mode.

When I swim less than 3000m the VA3M works fine (no issue so far).
When I swim more than 3000m the VA3M doesn't record theactivity distance correctly !

Example, today I swam 3400m and at the end of the activity when I stopped the VA3M it recorded only 3050m (with the correct chrono).

I noticed this bug the day after the update, most of the time my swim activities are 3000m.
But from time to time I have a few minutes to do more (100-500m) .
My VA3M was working fine so far (very good pool swim mode, better than my 935)

I tried to put the 'restore manufacturing parameters' menu.
I lost all my preferencies and recordings only this bug remains )-:

    Regards.

My device now keeps resetting during charging and when I try to sync music - Garmin support advised to upload firmware from the computer using the app - but it doesn't upload firmware refresh, and all I get is message I'm already up to date. Did anybody get this advice, what happens after this major failure?

Mine keeps resetting itself most afternoons about 5ish. It also stops counting distance after 1000m, but carries on with time, then it just resets itself.

I spoke to both Garmin & Amazon and followed their instructions and no improvement so it was replaced.

Im on my second VAM3 now, but it’s going back. I’m a distance swimmer and having a tracker that does count past 1km is no use what so ever.
  • Whenever Garmin updates their firmware something breaks until you reset the watch.

You would think they would just reset the watch themselves during the firmware update to stop these problems.

BACKUP the data and settings and reset and copy the settings back. it is simple, Garmin. Your software is total garbage.
