Post-firmware update 3.60 issues

Hi all, anybody experiencing issues with their watch after latest firmware update (3.60) ?
After the update, watch froze a few times on play button, had to turn it off and back on again to get over it (hour + stuck). On top of that, Deezer app doesn't work.
I've tried reinstalling the app, but when I click on it to import playlists, it connects to wifi and then the big play button appears for a few seconds and it just goes back to watch functionality. I have premium Deezer account.

Yep. I can't get my watch to acquire a GPS signal. Zero activities will trigger it, and I even left it sitting outside for an hour trying to get it to acquire a signal but still nothing.

I don't know what is worse. The fact that apparently these issues happen when upgraded from the phone garmin connect app versus the pc based garmin express app, or the fact that I can't find a way to reflash the firmware to my watch which will most likely fix the issue since I have read that the garmin connect app can't push any new GPS updates to the watch whereas the garmin express app can.

I just want this watch to work.

Still can't pair watch to phone (oneplus5) since update on Friday. Getting a bit frustrating now. Hopefully a fix for this soon or even a response for Garmin acknowledging there are issues with 3.60.
  • My update has worked fine for me the last two days. I had to force the device to sync to android the first time after the update. I've had no issues with GPS or activities.
Deezer had cleared the playlists on device so it had to do a resync of music on the device. Once that was done, the Music functions seems to work much better so far and the interface seems much improved. Especially liking the new volume control. Connection to headphones seemed less fiddly than before too.
Overall looks good to me so far
  • For me works fine either.
But that annoying bug that makes the name of the person who called you stuck in the screen until you press something in the watch still remains.

I have a OnePlus 5 and I have no pairing issues.

Delete Vivoactive music 3 Bluetooth connection on the phone, and restart.
Use Garmin Connect to Add Device

    Cheers.

Ended up removing device from phone, turning watch off/on and pairing again. All sorted sorted now.
  • It seems the latest update slightly broke the connection with my earbuds. I now no longer have access to the lowest volume setting - I have to click "up" twice from off before any sound comes out of my earbuds, where that wasn't the case before the update. :( Sucks, because now they're slightly louder than I would like, and that's half the reason I bought these fancy ones to replace the cheap pair I had previously.

I have the exact same problem. Garmin-Kara please can you investigate and advise on how to fix this?
  • I'm having an issue with the tracking of floors (stairs) since the update. When I get out of my car in the parking deck in the morning it says I'm over 30 floors and by the time I get to my floor via an elevator I'm over 50. I'm currently at 53 and have legitimately only walked up 3 sets of stairs today.
  • essexboyracer We do have a case open for the incoming call notification not clearing from the device screen. Please verify the Garmin Connect Mobile app is up to date. I recommend contacting your local Product Support so that we may gather additional details. You can find our contact information at support.garmin.com.
