Export all Fitbit data into Garmin

I would export your data to Strava and then use https://tapiriik.com/. A service that syncs both ways, not only Garmin to Strava.
And then change your passwords - I do not know how safe the site is.

Exercise activities can be imported using Garmin Connect on a pc (the easiest way - don't try it on a mobile device). Simply need to log-in to your fitbit account via their website and download all the files (I think they are .fit or something like that) for all your activities. Then manually upload each one on Garmin Connect. I went through the process when I made the switch. It took a little while to do 2 years worth of activities, but at least I have it all on Garmin now. One thing to note - all the data transfers over smoothly except the time stamp for the activity. It seemed to move it forward by 6 hours in my case.

Daily logs like sleep, steps, stairs, and active minutes won't transfer. This is only for recorded exercise activities...

ryanstl13 thanks for the tip, but that could be the stopping point for odvoskin. If so, either wait for the Garmin issue to be fixed or attempt the global_local method.

Thanks for all the answers! global_local - looks like the site you referenced doesn't include Fitbit. Also, as seilogramp mentioned, I don't have a problem with the tracked activities, actually all those are synced to my Strava account, so nothing lost there. My goal here was moving all the day-to-day activities of steps, HR, floors etc. Note that the export I downloaded from Fitbit is in json format, so not importable by the normal methods of importing a single activity which is usually in .tcx, .fit or .gpx. I'll just have to wait patiently until Garmin enables this feature. Garmin-Kara any idea when that would be?

No it doesn't include fitbit. You need to first import fitbit into Strava

Then use tapiriik to sync Strava to Garmin.

Sure, but even in this case, it only includes the activities in .tcx, .fit or .gpx , not day to day information. Bottom line is I'm still blocked.

Then you'll need to wait for Garmin to fix the import issue.
