Thank you for this. I literally thought my watch was broken and was really upset. Using your method I rebooted it.
I share here a solution which worked for me to get out of the boot loop:

If the device is still responding, push the Light / Power Button for 3 Seconds. A confirmation dialog will be prompt. You can start it again pushing the same button for 1-2 Seconds.
If it is not responding in any way, push it for 10 Seconds. The VA will shut down.
When it stuck in bootloop (Shows Garmin Logo, nothing else happens), I found a way to start it anyway. Turn it of (Powerbutton - 10 Sec) and lay it down on the docking/charging station, which is connected to a computer! It will now start automatically and boot successful.
I got the last behaviour once, after I´ve testet my very first own App.
Thanks mate!
I did not know that we need to hold the power button for 10 long seconds for the shut down.
thank you! your solution helped me.
It took more than 3 seconds, but less than 10 for it to break out of the green triangle mode! Not sure why I had the problem in the 1st place, i.e. what caused it. But, all good now!
Thank you this worked!
Thank you!
Worked for me..specifically holding the power button down for 10 seconds, then powering it back on.
I thought this might have been out of charge, as when I plugged it in (from zero charge), it was stuck on the blue triangle instead of showing power percentage.
However, holding the power button 10+ seconds got rid of the triangle temporarily, then it came back but DID switch on with a button press.
Notably it showed Bluetooth software had been updated, which may have been a factor.
