Hi there, I try to add a gpx file from the Dutch biker website Route.nl by using Basecamp or DWmamps. Unfortunally it is not possible, both application accept the gpx file. Is there an alternative, what do you recommend?
Not delving into details, GPX is a commonly used format for storing activity and/or course data usually (but not necessarily) generated by GPS-based devices. One could see it as an alternative to Garmin's FIT format. Some Garmin devices, notably the hiking-oriented ones, can use GPX files directly.
I use the app dwmap to follow a router from gpsies on my VA3. You can also create the route on the apps web address dynamic.watch or import from openactive or mapmyrun.
That's what I was wondering about the dwMap app. I haven't used the app for about 9 months due to an injury and I downloaded it to my VA3, but have yet to try it out. I was confused and thought comments in this thread were saying dwMap's couldn't be used on the VA3. I'm straight now.

Today I have the route (after first converted it to a track in gypsies.com) uploaded in DWmaps (free account). It works fine and happy that I have the solution for the VA3.
