After the 7.10 update I have massive problems

Several times per day the screen only displays "IQ" for something like 10 - 15 mins. since this update. Or remains completely black.

In this state it does not react to any button presses, so no reboot possible!

While in this state it takes longer for Connect or Connect IQ to report connected, but actually no data can be exchanged between my Android (A52) and Venu.

After this long wait it finally reruns to normal operations.

Very bad QA for this release.

Please fix this asap or revert back to previous OS.

I chatted with support, they had me do a hard reset, which worked, but we'll see how long it lasts.

Hard Reset on vivoactive 4/4S:

Press and hold the top right button for 45 seconds until the screen goes completely blank
- Keep holding the button even when you see the Assistance Alert
Once the device is off, release the button and allow the device to remain off for a full minute
Press the top right button briefly to power back on

Hi VAW,

I am a watchface developer as well. The watchface I developed (BigTey) now randomly crashes on my personal device. These crashes started immediately after I completed the 7.10 FW update. My watchface does indeed use the the settings feature (Application.Properties to be exact) to store user settings. Do you have any more details on this issue, or can you point me to another thread with more info?

My Venu has crashed twice since I've updated it to 7.10. I've never had it crash before. I use the Anassic watch face. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but this did not fix things. It will turn blank and not revert until I restart the watch. Additionally, sometimes (twice) when I try to sync my watch, the sync will fail and the watch will crash. When it boots back up, things are back to normal. Is there anything I can do?

Same here. I thought my watch had broken but it had just blanked out custom watch faces.

This isn't good enough, the watch faces which come as default are really bland and boring.

Do Garmin read this forum or do we need to let their customer services know?
