VENU bluetooth sound cracking

Hi,

I have a strange problem with Venu, while listening to music the sound is 'cracking' like listening from old vinyl. Especially noticeable while listening to quiet composed music like Peter Gabriel-Heroes or Vangelis- Fields of Coral.

I have tried on two Venu watches and two bluetooth headsets: CA Melomania 1 and some generic Chinese.

Anyone with similar experience?

Ok. I think I have got down to the bottom of the issue! Garmin Cant handle high bitrate files!!! 320kbps cracking is unbearable, 192kbps no issues!

I listened to Fields of Coral and no such issues with Samsung Galaxy Buds+ and SW version 4.70/BT version 5.04

I wonder why Fitbit can handle flawlessly bluetooth playback, however Garmin finds it so difficult?

Doesn't really make sense...

And you sure there isn't something nearby that could cause interference? I don't know what setup the Melomania 1s use for master and slave but perhaps the Bluetooth signal is getting blocked? E.g. watch on one side of body and master bud on the other

It is not the signal blocking. I tried holding iit near the headphone. No change.

Looks like the whole range of Garmin watches is flawed!

That figures, I am using Spotify so assume it uses 192kbps files, hence why no issues. I guess that Garmin uses SBC and that 320kbps is coming up to the max bitrate for the codec.

Yes ...same on my sennheiser buds ...very annoying
