How long does a Garmin device typically last before it needs to be replaced?
I had my Venu Sq for a little over a year, and it was glitchy for a few days (a background GPS activity that couldn't be turned off or even seen until it randomly ended hours later) and then had issues with a particular set of notifications, so support replaced it with a refurbished one. The notification issue was never fixed (support stopped answering so I'm guessing there wasn't a fix) but this one has started glitching as well. I've had it several months but just recently started tracking more workouts. Several times it will stop the activity about 2 minutes into the workout and the screen goes to maximum brightness and it freezes for a moment and either lets me continue or the watch shuts down.
Since this is happening more often I was wondering if this is an actual issue or if there is a certain lifespan for the device that I should reasonably expect (since no technology lasts forever) and maybe it's just time to replace it?
